Living so far from home turns those with whom we share our meals, our laughs, our fears and hugs into our family.

This month I am again teaming up with Lise to host a Kinfolk Gathering in Paris to celebrate the release of The Kinfolk Table, new friends and new culinary adventures. We will be joined by Sarah Mouchot and Nico Alary of the to be newly-opened Holybelly to bring The Kinfolk Table to life by providing a three-course feast of tried and tested tasty family favourites for the Paris Kinfolk community to enjoy.

    Heard about this event through Anne Ditmeyer - my wife and I just bought tickets. I'm super excited - this is exactly the sort of thing I'd love to see more of. I experimented a bit early this year with "Sunday Beer Lunch," which was not nearly as 'clean' as this event looks to be, but it left me hungry to do more stuff like this.

    Oh, Lauren, if I could make it, I would be soooo on board for such an event.
    I truly hope you plan a christams event or an event in the New Year.
